Adam Levine is producing a pilot for NBC based on his band Maroon 5’s “Sugar” video. According to Variety the as-yet-untitled, hour-long project will be co-produced by “Sugar” director David Dobkin.

In the Maroon 5 video, the band drives around Los Angeles crashing weddings and giving energetic performances to the audience of the wedding. That surprise premise serves as the inspiration for the TV show, which will feature celebrities who show up to surprise their fans at their weddings and “other memorable occasions.” The pilot will include a similar “Sugar” wedding-crashing scenario, along with an unnamed prominent actor surprising a bachelor party.
