Age of Shadows – Movie Review

Age of Shadows is one of the biggest films here in Korea in 2016. The spy-action thriller was selected as Korea’s entry to international film festivals.

Featuring a star studded cast of Gong Yoo, Song Kang-ho, Han Ji-min, Shingo Tsurumi, and Um Tae Goo with director Kim Jee-woon (I Saw the Devil, A Tale of Two Sisters, etc.), the movie had a lot of backing from the start.

We break down this film and see if it’s worth the watch.

I have a very loud laugh ( so *they* said) and a penchant for cocktail rings (the bigger, the better). It would be wise not to test me on Sex and the City trivia. Funnel muffins are the way to my heart.

The film is now on Amazon's streaming channel so I'll watch it in our screening room (100" screen) And yes, we take bathroom breaks in there. lol Thanks very much for the great review. I love Asian films and dramas and I'll be watching more reviews of the films that I'm interested in seeing. Cheers from L.A.!

Nice to hear more good things about this one.  I definitely will watch it when I can, since I'm a huge fan of the director and some of the actors.
